If school hadn't already been rough enough with the curriculum and the constant taunting that he received, then it sure as hell was now. His grades were dropping like flies at that point. Since the battle, Alex hardly did anything now. It was a rarity to find him actually in classes, he spoke little to others, and he preferred to be completely and utterly alone. To say the fight had fucked him up would be an understatement. He didn't know what to do with himself. So many people had died in the fight, but what was worse...He couldn't decide who to side with. The power of the Death Eaters was something that he had always longed for, but after seeing what they had done to the school, he wasn't quite sure he could follow everything they fought for. But, at the same time, he couldn't stand up against them. He couldn't fight against those who he practically looked up to.
So, in the end, his mentality, his morality, they were all in a horrible state. And, that had been why he had taken up drinking. The transgender may have been a bit of a goody-two-shoes when it came to certain things, but at that point, he didn't care any more about rules. Slouching at the far corner of the bar with a shot glass and a bottle of Firewhiskey. He had managed to get one from the barman, though it had taken a few extra galleons. He was yet to be fully drunk, but he was getting there, and in all honesty, he hoped to get there soon. As he forced down another shot of the alcoholic beverage, his eyes fell onto a very familiar face...

Piper had needed to go out, work had been more than loathsome of late, Brendan was spending all his time in some sort of top secret project she had yet to figure out a way to worm her way into, leaving her all alone. Ever since the attack on the school, security on everything from people to documents had tightened, making it more difficult for her to get her hands on anything, regardless of whom she slept with. And now, Piper was looking for a little fun, she needed some incentive to keep working at the job she hated, she certainly wasn't getting any from Jezebel... Fluffing her hair, Piper stepped into the pub, dressed like she was looking for a good time. She had brought out her little black dress, with emphasis on little. The hem barely grazed her mid-thighs, hardly long enough to cover everything, and the panel that covered her back was sheer, albeit intricate, lace. Add to the dress patent leather pumps, a red lip, and nails painted a dark purple, Piper was made up for action.
She strutted up to the bar, regretting choosing this location, at first glance her keen hazel eyes found only dirty old men, and not the kind that looked like they had any money. She'd just con her first drink from the barman and head to the nicer pub to find someone younger, and a little better looking. Or at least that was the plan until her gaze fell upon a familiar platinum blond, she remembered him well. Or her. Or whatever Alex was supposed to be. It had been fun, though, being his first, and from the looks of his misery he hadn't had any since then. She wouldn't turn down another round... Piper strode confidently to his table, ignoring a whistle that followed her, and sat down without being invited. "Troubled again, eh?" said Piper.

Alex couldn't honestly say whether he was happy to see the woman or not. The last time he had been with her had been simply amazing, but in his turmoil of a mood, he couldn't really say he wanted company at the moment. As she sat down uninvited just as she always seemed to do, he watched her quietly as she spoke. He only gave a bit of a grunt in response, downing yet another shot of his drink. He could feel the alcohol burning in his throat and the affects of it were finally starting to get to his. The transgender cleared his throat for a moment as he lightly leaned back again his seat. "...yeah, I guess.", he muttered, running a hand through his blonde hair. He wasn't wearing anything fancy, not that he would usually wear fancy or nice things anyways. He was in a simple white t-shirt, jeans, and a black leather jacket that remained unzipped.
The Hufflepuff smiled faintly as he looked briefly over the woman, remembering the first time he had met her. That had definitely been an interesting day to say the least. As the alcohol continued to boil in him, he felt no need to be shy or to himself like he always was. Scooting his chair back lightly, he chuckled as he lightly tilted his head. "You look a bit lonely on the other side of this table.", he said a bit quietly, offering the woman the chance to sit on his lap, something he would enjoy. The transgender had been so withdrawn from people, more than he usually was and he wanted some kind of physical contact, not caring who it care from.

It didn't take long for Piper to realize that Alex had gone and gotten himself drunk, really, it was adorable, a boy playing in a man's world. She had never bothered to ask how old he was, age didn't matter to her, but he was probably only just seventeen at the oldest, if that. If he were younger than that it must have cost a pretty penny to get that bottle on his table. The barkeeps here willingly served minors, they need only be... persuaded. She frowned a bit, but maintained an air of playfulness to her person. "What's wrong this time?" Piper asked, sounding as if she genuinely cared.
It was all too easy to play with other people's affections, especially whilst they were inebriated, but she had always viewed others more as her playthings than as actual people. Piper was mildly surprised as the blond scooted out his chair, stating that she looked a bit lonely. A smirk playing at her painted lips, she obliged with what she knew Alex wanted, slipping from her seat and instead sitting daintily on his lap. She crossed her legs at the knee, the hem of her dress slipping up dangerously high. She paid no mind and she instead looped her arm around the back of his neck, lightly clasping her hands. "Better?" said Piper, still smiling slightly.

As Piper came to sit on his lap, the close contact brought an odd sense of false comfort. Letting out a quiet sigh, he stayed silent for a moment before speaking. "Yes, much better.", he said in almost a purr. His arm lazily wrapped loosely around her waist, closing his eyes for a moment as he took in her smell. He had yet to answer her second question, and he wasn't quite sure if he should tell. He was completely unaware that she herself was a Death Eater, but assuming she was simply another person like any one else there, he wasn't sure what'd she say about it. Somewhere in him, he knew she wouldn't care. Besides the pleasure they got from each other, there was really no other connection between them. So, why not just tell her?
"...Just trying to figure out where to go from here, I guess.", he said softly, going for another drink. But, this time he grabbed the bottle, not bothering with the shot glass anymore. He took a long draft of the alcohol before setting it back down, sighing again as he looked up at the red-haired beauty.

Piper nestled into Alex, absently messing with the collar of his jacket, making the leather lie smoothly. She liked the look of him in leather, perhaps it was because she felt it toughened up his still slightly feminine appearance. Though for whatever reason, the transgender still managed to intrigue her, he was different, most definitely a unique prize. "Good," said Piper, one of her hands coming to a rest on his upper chest, fingers hooking onto his shoulder, her other hand slipping up the back of his neck, lightly playing with the pale blond hair at the nape of his neck, wondering vaguely what she might be able to do with the evening, things were certainly looking more interesting than she had thought.
After Alex put the bottle on the table, Piper herself picked it up and took a long swig, not even cringing as it burned its way down her throat. She was more than used to firewhiskey. It wasn't her drink of choice, it had been the beverage at unauthorized student parties, she liked to think of herself as worth more than that, but it'd do. "Well, there's lots of places you could go," said Piper, her hand migrating downward to lightly rub Alex's neck, "where do you want to go?"

A silent sigh slipped through him as he came to enjoy the caresses of the woman's fingers. He hadn't felt the soft touch for awhile from anyone and he only just realized how much he had in fact missed it. As the red-haired woman spoke, Alex couldn't help but lightly laughing, shaking his head faintly. "No. I don't mean literally go somewhere", he said, smiling faintly at her as he lightly ran his fingers over the exposed flesh of her leg, remembering the night they had had together. "I'm sure you heard of that attack on the school, yeah?", he asked, obvious unaware that the woman herself had been there fighting on the Death Eater's side. Had he known, he might've been in complete awe. But, there was the possibly the chance that he might end up fearing her.
"Well...don't know what to do with it really...Could decide who to fight for..", he admitted, diverting his gaze as he lightly played with the shot glass that sat on the table before. The arm he had around the woman tightened faintly, almost afraid that she'd leave once she realized what he meant. He knew plenty of people feared Death Eaters as they should and he didn't want her to leave if she thought that the fact that he even considered being a Death Eater was disgusting and horrible.

"Well I know that," said Piper, smiling faintly, though she supposed the way she had articulated that phrase could be taken either way. A quiet purr of pleasure rose in her throat when Alex's hand met the bare skin of her thigh, there was no denying that she'd be luring him away again. It had been interesting the last time they had met up, it was always fun for her, being someone's first. Though Piper didn't often have the patience for coaching through inexperience, but Alex was different, just enough so that she might be willing to go through a good amount of boring encounters until he got good at it.
Piper nodded as he mentioned the attack on the school, she wouldn't say it, but she had been there, one of the feared ones in masks. And she had loved every second of it. She felt a bit of mischief when he mentioned debating sides, perhaps she might have the opportunity to become the metaphoric devil on his shoulder, score another for their ranks... But of course, her mind was still on more carnal things... "Well, you just have to decide which side has the better deal," Piper said vaguely, leaning forward and lightly nibbling on Alex's neck, hoping to distract him. She didn't want philosophical conversations with an intoxicated teenager, she wanted fun.

As Piper gave him her answer, he lightly nodded his head, taking a moment to think. Or more, try to think. With his clouded, intoxicated mind, it was hard to actually think on the issue as he could hardly keep a straight though on track in his mind. With Alex struggling faintly to keep even the simplest of thoughts in mind, he hardly noticed the red-head's motions until he felt her teeth on his neck. A faint, almost clumsy smirk slid onto his lips. "I'm boring you, aren't I?", he asked with a chuckle, his mind dropping the thoughts it had been struggling to hold onto as he ran a hand up her side. Yes, he should have figured that this woman was not about to sit here and listen to the entire draw out of his worries. No, she wanted the pleasure that he could offer, just as he wanted.
Turning to face her, the arm around her waist tightened faintly, pulling her against him as he slid his fingers down her neck and across the top of her chest. "It is getting pretty boring in this rusty dump, ain't it?", he said, in a way agreeing to what he knew she was thinking.

Piper was a little impatient, perhaps it had to do with the more than unfair amount of frustration in her life at the moment. She was growing bored with life in general, and that was a dangerous place for her to be. Piper wasn't exactly known for making good decisions, particularly when she got into ones of these spots in her life. She needed to channel it into something that would work for her, and she had had her sights set on a higher position at work... Piper couldn't take over the Department of Mysteries, but her ambitions were higher than that anyway. She wanted in the Minister's office. Jezebel would be ever so pleased if she managed to get herself there... "Only a little," Piper admitted, smirking.
She nestled her head into the bend where Alex's neck joined his shoulder. "We're too pretty for talk like that," said Piper, gently caressing his lips with a fingertip. She purred again as his hand wandered, tipping her head back and pushing her chest forward slightly, permitting him to touch as he wanted. "It is pretty dead here," said Piper, slinking from Alex's lap. She dropped a kiss on his lips before straightening and taking his hands, lightly pulling them to encourage him to stand, "let's get out of here."
